Esurance Expands Online Service Offerings for Policyholders Through Partnership with HSG
New Service for Online Reporting of Auto Glass Claims Part of Strategic Initiative to Improve Policyholder Experience
Esurance, the direct-to-consumer personal auto insurance company, and HSG, the industry leader in providing innovative solutions for the management of auto insurance claims, today announced a new service that will enable Esurance policyholders to report their auto glass claims online. The new Online Claims Reporting application involved the integration of HSG's systems with the Esurance Policy Management System (XPM), and is part of a larger initiative to provide Esurance customers the ability to have more control of the claims process by allowing policyholders to report numerous types of claims and be able to track the progress of their claims online, 24/7.

The management of the Online Claims Reporting application is being directed by the Esurance Claims Self Service Group. The project involved the development of a customized User Interface (UI) that includes specific Web pages, specially designed to offer a unique online claims reporting experience for each policyholder. After a policyholder reports a claim, they are provided customized information on next steps in the claims process and detailed instructions for contacting HSG about their auto glass claim.
